As a dedicated and detailed oriented accounting professional, Widad has been working for the last 15 years in accounting. She currently works as a Senior Accountant for iNNOVATEQ handling the Finance Department. She is specialized in preparing assets, liability, and variance analysis, as well as preparing management reporting, forecasting, internal controls, procedures, accounts payable, accounts receivable and Treasury management.
Widad graduated from Sultan Qaboos University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After graduation, she joined TANMIA group as a Junior Accountant. There, her duties were to bank/cash payments, processing financial entries, performing reconciliations, and coordinating with auditors. after 5 years she has been promoted to Senior Accountant, in her position she was preparing the financial reporting, performing audit work, handling shareholders matters, tax filing and tax payments. Few year later, she became the Accounts Supervisor of TANMIA Group, handling the accounting and bookkeeping of the mother company and subsidiaries in different fields like investment in securities, funds management, private markets, mining, hospitality, aviation, and recently IT & Project accounting. She also assisted in establishing the start-up subsidiaries with regulations, compliance, and tax issues.
In spare time, Widad enjoys meeting up with my friends and family, and organizing event gathering. She also enjoys reading novels and books especially the historical ones, which she believes are our record of past and there is much to learn about the past.
