iNNOVATEQ will start with integrating Shell’s Production Universe (PU) software with (Nibras) platform; that integration will enable Shell to sustain PU with cutting-edge technology, eliminate technology dept, optimize its operating costs, and more importantly expanding the realized value of PU within Shell-operated production assets from Deepwater to onshore in 12 different countries across the 4 continents.
Nibras has transformed asset management in PDO over the last 6 years generating huge value. This was generated by the unique combined application of Operational Excellence, Lean and Digitalization concepts to the latest technology to achieve significant user and organizational adoption. Nibras today is used by 1,800 users to manage 8,000 wells (12 different types), as well as 75% of PDO’s water-flooded reservoirs and 30% of their Surface Facility Equipment. This has released 40% of engineers and operators time, reduced HSE risk by more than 10% and generated at least 5% extra production from PDO.
